We try to be boring with cookies. We don't run advertising trackers and we don't use any analytics product that needs a banner.

What we set

Session cookie — only if you sign in. It is httpOnly and used purely to keep you signed in. It expires when your session ends. Without it, sign-in cannot work.
Stripe checkout — Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout pages when you go through the payment flow. That happens on Stripe's domain, not ours. See Stripe's cookie notice for details.

What we don't set

No advertising cookies.
No third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta pixel, etc.).
No cross-site tracking.

Local storage

Tools may use your browser's memory while you're filling them in (e.g. the theme toggle remembers light vs dark). This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Anonymised analytics events

We log a small set of anonymised events to a backend endpoint, without cookies and without anything that identifies you. The event names are:

page_view — a tool or page was viewed.
tool_start — a planner form was opened/used.
tool_complete — a tool produced its output.
calendar_export_click — a calendar add/download was clicked.
waitlist_click — a waitlist link was followed.
pricing_click — pricing link was clicked.
checkout_attempt_blocked — a paid checkout was attempted while paused.
feedback_submit — feedback widget submitted.
weekly_agenda_opt_in — Monday agenda email opt-in.

The events include only the path on our site (e.g. /tools/sunday-reset-planner/) and a small number of safe properties (e.g. tool slug). No tool inputs, no email, no IP-based fingerprint. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we honour it and skip these events.

Opting out

You can disable analytics events on any page by appending ?lbc-dnt=1 to the URL, or by enabling Do Not Track in your browser. Cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in and payments will still apply if you use those features.
